What is Crypto Kotoba?
Crypto Kotoba is a collection of illustrative, semi-editorial artworks introducing one Japanese word (kotoba) per artwork.
All artwork is 1/1, meaning each is unique, and can only be collected by ONE person.
You are invited to collect the Crypto Kotoba that represents your value; something that you like or obsessed with; or have a special meaning in your heart.
Each work is registered as NFT on the blockchain, and available at Gengoya’s OpenSea page to collect!

・Make a Wish
The shape of Crypto Kotoba is inspired by 絵馬 Ema, a wooden plank often found in Japanese shrines where people write down their wishes and hang it.
As a collector, you will be allowed to write a wish message and it will be hanged online at the Collector’s Gallery together with your Crypto Kotoba

Below is the diagram explaining each part of the Crypto Kotoba artwork.
・THE WISH
There are two styles of Wish: typed or hand-written.
Collectors can type the Wish, or write the Wish on a blank white paper and send it to me.
I will insert the message to the wooden plank template, then it will be put side-by-side with your Crypto Kotoba on the Collector’s Gallery.
Make sure to contact me after your purchase so I know where to contact you about the Wish. Remember, the sentence has to be a wish. I want to make the collector’s gallery to be filled with positive vibe of wishes.

is a virtual gallery space where anyone can visit and see various Crypto Kotoba on display while reading the message left by its collectors. (Spatial account is required)

Where the fund goes to
・10% donation. Honestly, I haven’t decided exactly where, but I’m thinking between “reparation of broken shrines in Japan” or “development of art-related kids institution/organization in Indonesia”
・50% to further develop and improve the experience of Crypto Kotoba, such as : hiring 3D artist to develop custom environment; hiring musician to make custom music; etc.
・30% to staff members that contribute in helping me build the system and keep working on it.
・20% artist profit
Roadmap
The 1st Season of Crypto Kotoba will have 50 unique kotobas from various themes like animals, verbs, objects, etc.
We are also planning to do special collaborations with other NFT artists which will be announced when it’s confirmed!

FAQ
If I collect, do I get the copyright to the artwork?
No, what you get is an NFT (non-fungible token), minted on the blockchain. Or to put it simply, you get a “signed” original digital artwork and not merely a copy of it.
What can I use the Crypto Kotoba for?
You are pretty much free to do whatever you want with it . Here’s some ideas : You can print it as a poster in your room, use it as your phone wallpaper, brag to people online that you bought it, etc. What you CAN NOT do, is to use for commercial purpose. For example print it on a t-shirt and sell the t-shirt, mint the file again on any NFT platform, etc.
